Why not at launch
Real leverage on a liquidity position needs a lender that accepts the position itself as collateral. On Robinhood Chain no lending market does that yet: they only accept plain tokens. Anything we could build today would not give you more than your own deposit in the pool, so we would rather not offer it.
What is planned
- Tidewell lending. You lend USDG or other tokens to Tidewell positions and earn interest plus extra rewards.
- Leverage backed by your position. Your Tidewell position becomes the collateral, so you earn fees on more than your deposit. A position only opens when its liquidation price is well outside its range.
- Audited first. Both parts go live only after their own security audit.
